The National League of American Pen Women is the oldest arts organization for women in the United States, with 135 branches throughout the country.

Established in 1897, our mission is to encourage and promote the creative work of artists, writers and musicians.

 

Counted among the thousands of members are Eudora Welty, Pearl Buck and Eleanor Roosevelt.
