July 8th – 23rd 2017
About the Show
ON THE TOWN is the tale of three sailors on a 24-hour leave from their ship docked in New York City. This is a classic musical from the composer of "West Side Story". Memorable musical numbers include Come Up to My Place, Lucky to Be Me, Some Other Time and New York, New York. It’s a comedy with gorgeous, dancing, energy, and verve.
Rated PG: All ages admitted. We have decided after starting the rehearsal process to raise this rating from G to PG. We really think there is nothing offensive here but we feel some people may find the plotline of three saliors on 24 hrs leave looking for dates not appropriate. There is some mile sexual innuendo and they say damn.
